Swadesh Multicusine ~ Restaurant Review #185

Swadesh Multi-cuisine Restaurant is located near Kothaguda signal, Hyderabad. I happened to visit this restaurant at lunch time… We went in a group of 20 people and we booked the table one day prior. Here’s a detailed review of their lunch buffet. The restaurant wasn’t hard to find… It has valet parking service as well. So people coming in car- no need to worry. When we entered the restaurant, it was sort of empty… The ambiance is really nice and cozy… Some Bollywood music was being played.

We reached by 1 PM and the stuffs were setting up the buffet. First we were served with the welcome drink. To be honest, nobody took a single sip of it except me. It was literally hajmola water.
We had some vegetarian friends with us. After long wait the starters finally showed up. We spread across three tables. Most of the dishes were not served in all the tables. Generally for non vegetarian people, waiters still offer the veg options. We found it otherwise. The waiters were not at all asking us for veg starters. In starters they had-
1. Veg galouti kebab
2. Crispy veg
3. Veg spring roll
4. Chicken tandoori
5. Crispy egg
6. Fish starter
7. Chicken starter 2

The non veg counter part wasn’t the best. The egg starter was something different in the menu. The fish wasn’t very good. The chicken was okayish.
On the other hand the veg starters were decent. We had to ask them so many times to serve the veg starters to everyone. They took forever to bring the repeat orders.
From service point of view I would say, there’s a lot to improve. We had to ask multiple times for single thing.
The main course was mostly south Indian cuisine.
In veg there was dondakai fry, sambar, rasam, veg jaipuri, Saga kofta, paneer lababdar…
Among this Saga kofta and veg jaipuri tasted almost the same.
There was plain rice, veg Biriyani, lemon  rice, curd rice and chicken biryani
in rice  section. There were options for naans and breads as well which were served on demand.

On nonveg main course there was egg curry, Andhra fish curry, homemade chicken curry, mutton … All were okayish.
In miscellaneous part there were pasta in red sauce, Russian salad, Veg Fried Rice, garlic noodles, Chinese style veg gravy.
In this restaurant I would suggest to mainly focus on the Indian cuisines.
In desserts they had sevayi Kheer, double Ka meetha, mixed fruit custard and 2 types of ice cream. The dessert section was best in quality.

My overall experience is good. I may visit them again. The things I would suggest to improve are non veg starters quality and service.
