This is about a girl Riley and her five emotions – joy, sadness, anger, disgust, fear. For some financial problems her parents moved in a small house and Riley had to go to a school of her parent’s choice. This was a difficult situation for Riley. Her bonding with parents was being challenged, joy in herself could no longer balance her in a stable state. Anger, fear, disgust were taking all the control. Joy always thought that Sadness is not good for Riley… But finally it was found that sadness is also necessary to keep a person in balance.
This is a really interesting movie. I loved how the different emotions of a person are depicted as different inviduals inside. There are several moments that will jerk your tear glands. Nobody is too old to watch this movie.
Anyone out there who’s in junior high school, working it out, suffering- there are days you’re going to feel sad, you’re going to feel angry, you’re going to feel scared, that’s nothing you can choose. But you can make stuff. Make films. Draw. Write. It will make a world of difference.
