Easy Cooking: Mushroom recipe 2 types #89

Before going into the recipe let me tell you something. I am new to cooking and I by no means will cook something which takes a lot of time and effort. I love to experiment with food and here is the result of my experiment on mushrooms! The pizza omelette: This was the very first time for me to try mushrooms out. I had to play safe, I chose the ingredients that are most likely to be there in my freezer. The things that you’ll need are

  • Eggs
  • Mushrooms
  • Butter/oil
  • Onions
  • Bell pepper (optional)
  • Salt and pepper

Clean the mushrooms thoroughly and cut them into thin slices. Heat some oil in a pan and fry the onions first, stir it till it changes colour to light brown, add the mushrooms and keep it on medium heat for 3-4 minutes. You can add thin slices of bell pepper in it. But don’t fry it long time, otherwise it will loose the vibrant colour. Set this pan aside. You will need a small frying pan that has a small base. The goal is to achieve a thickness when you pour the beaten egg into that pan. Heat the pan first, add a small block of butter in it (using butter will make it super tasty but you can use any other oil to keep it healthy as well). After 1 minute pour the egg into the pan. Cover it with a lead and keep it on medium heat. It will be cooked halfway within 2-3 minutes, now gently add all the ingredients on top of it. Add salt and pepper. Carefully flip it upside down when the veggies are set inside the egg. 2 more minutes and you are ready to go! Veggies party:

This one is just stir fried veggies. I don’t think mushroom goes well with anything and everything. This is the combination that I tried and turned out to be good. You can improvise it as per your choice of veggies. The things that you’ll need

  • Broccoli
  • Mushrooms
  • Baby corn
  • Salt and pepper
  • Oregano
  • Chilly flakes

First of all fry the baby corns, when it will be half fried add the mushrooms. Fry it till the mushrooms are half cooked. I prefer to add the broccoli at last so that the green colour doesn’t go away. Add salt, pepper, oregano and chilli flakes. It’s a simple and healthy dish that doesn’t require a lot of time. You can share your improvised version of this recipe with me. It will be fun to try them out too! 😀❤
